Just a wild idea I had: Develop weapons that can temporarily incapacitate hundreds (thousands?) of people, without killing them. How would that affect warfare? I’ll try continuing this thread tomorrow.

Bradford University already has an entire department studying this. You should talk to these guys. Pretty interesting stuff.
